利雅得(阿拉伯语:الرياض‎;ar-Riyāḍ;意为“花园”)是沙特阿拉伯首都及最大城市,也是利雅得省的省会。它位于阿拉伯半岛传统上的中心地带内志,更细分的话是在“亚玛玛”区域。利雅得是一座典型的绿洲城市,人口有570万人,若加上周围都会圈约有730万人。利雅得也是 Alpha - 级的全球城市

利雅得总共划分成15个区域,由利雅得市长与利雅得省城市发展局管理。这里拥有世界上最大的女子大学-努拉公主大学[2]

Riad (arabisch الرياض, DMG ar-Riyāḍ ‚die Gärten‘) ist die Hauptstadt des Königreichs Saudi-Arabien und der gleichnamigen Provinz. Die Stadt hat 6,5 Millionen Einwohner, die Provinz 7,9 Millionen (Stand 1. Januar 2016). Im Deutschen liest man gelegentlich auch Er-Riad.

Die Stadt ist wirtschaftliches, administratives und kulturelles Zentrum des Landes. Sie beherbergt zahlreiche Universitäten, Museen sowie Baudenkmäler. Riad ist Sitz der saudi-arabischen Regierung, des Parlaments, aller staatlichen Zentralbehörden sowie zahlreicher diplomatischer Vertretungen.

Riad ist seit der Unabhängigkeit Saudi-Arabiens im Jahre 1932 Hauptstadt. Historisch ist sie ein sehr wichtiger Durchreiseort des arabischen Raums, der Pilgerwege nach Mekka und Medina, der bedeutendsten Pilgerstätten des Islam. In Riad befindet sich seit 1824 der Hauptpalast des Königshauses Saud.

リヤド(Riyadh, アラビア語:الرياض ar-Riyādh, アッ=リヤード)は、サウジアラビア首都アラビア半島中央部のナジュド地方に位置する内陸都市で、人口は2010年現在でおよそ525万人である[1]。サウジアラビア王国建国以前からサウジ王家であるサウード家の本拠地としてワッハーブ主義運動の中心になってきた。中東有数の世界都市で、アメリカのシンクタンクが2014年に発表した世界都市ランキングでは65位にランクインしている。 

Riyadh (/rɪˈjɑːd/; Arabic: الرياض‎, romanizedar-Riyāḍ [ar.riˈjaːdˤ], Najdi pronunciation: [er.rɪˈjɑːðˤ]) is the capital of Saudi Arabia and the largest city on the Arabian Peninsula. With a population of 7.6 million people, Riyadh is the third-largest city in the Arab world and the 39th-largest in Asia.[1] Riyadh is located on the eastern part of the Najd plateau at about 600 metres (2,000 ft) above sea level.[2]

Riyadh is the political and administrative centre of Saudi Arabia and is the headquarters of the country's central government bodies, such as the Saudi Royal Court and the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia. Riyadh is of great economic importance, as it is the headquarters of many banks and major companies. It is also the location of the King Abdullah Financial District, one of the world's largest financial centres. Riyadh is one of the world's fastest-growing cities in population, with many immigrants.

The city is divided into 15 municipal districts, managed by the Municipality of Riyadh headed by the mayor of Riyadh, and the Royal Commission for Riyadh which is chaired by the governor of the Province, Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud. The current mayor is Tariq bin Abdul Aziz Al-Faris. Riyadh has been designated a global city.[3]

Riyad (en arabe : الرياض / ar-riyāḍ, signifiant littéralement « les jardins ») est la capitale du royaume d’Arabie saoudite dans la province homonyme. Elle s’étend sur 1 554 km², et comptait officiellement plus de six millions d'habitants lors du recensement en 2017, ce qui en fait la ville la plus peuplée du pays. 

Riad (in arabo: الرياض‎, al-Riyāḍ "giardini", pronuncia [ar riˈjaːdˤ] o [er rɪˈjɑːðˤ]) o Riyad, è la capitale dell'Arabia Saudita e la sua città più grande; è capoluogo dell'omonima provincia, appartenente alle regioni storiche di Najd e al-Yamāma. È situata al centro della Penisola arabica su un grande altopiano, conta 6 500 000 abitanti circa ed è il centro di una regione con una popolazione di circa 10 milioni di persone.

La città è divisa in 15 municipi, gestiti dal comune di Riyāḍ, guidato dal sindaco di Riad e dalle autorità per lo sviluppo di Riyāḍ, presieduto dal governatore della provincia di Riyad, il principe Sattām b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz. L'attuale sindaco di Riad è ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Muqbel. Riad ha la più grande università femminile del mondo, la "Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University" (in arabo: جامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبد الرحمن‎, Jāmiʿ al-Amīra Nūra bint ʿAbd al-Raḥmān).

Riad3​ (en árabe, الرياض ar-Riyāḍ pronunciado /er.rɪˈjɑːðˤ/, lit., «Los Jardines») es la capital y la ciudad más grande de Arabia Saudita, situada en la región del Nejd. También es capital de la provincia de Riad. Está en el centro de la península arábiga, en una gran meseta.

Tiene 8 002 100 de habitantes, según estimaciones del año 2016 (aproximadamente 20 % del país) y ocupa una superficie de 1554 km². La ciudad está dividida en 15 secciones y su alcalde es Abdul Aziz ibn Ayyaf Al Migrin.

Está en una zona muy árida con muy pocas precipitaciones. Por ello, en las inmediaciones hay 5 embalses, 96 depósitos y 467 kilómetros de acueductos que traen el agua desde las plantas desalinizadoras del Golfo.

Эр-Рия́д (араб. الرياض‎ [arrːiˈjɑːdˤ] — «сады») — столица и крупнейший город Саудовской Аравии. Административный центр округа Эр-Рияд, в составе которого образует одноимённую мухафазу Эр-Рияд.
