Das Bundespatentgericht (BPatG) ist das zweitgrößte deutsche Bundesgericht und hat seinen Sitz in München. Es wurde am 1. Juli 1961 gegründet. Aufgabe dieses Gerichts ist es, in bestimmten Rechtsstreitigkeiten über gewerbliche Schutzrechte (u. a. Patente und Marken) zu entscheiden.
