中国共产党第十九次全国代表大会开幕会于2017年10月18日上午9:00在人民大会堂大礼堂举行
习近平总书记代表十八届中央委员会向大会作了题为《决胜全面建成小康社会 夺取新时代中国特色社会主义伟大胜利》（Secure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and strive for the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era）的报告。
习近平指出，中国共产党第十九次全国代表大会，是在全面建成小康社会决胜阶段、中国特色社会主义进入新时代的关键时期召开的一次十分重要的大会。
大会的主题是：
不忘初心，牢记使命，高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜，决胜全面建成小康社会，夺取新时代中国特色社会主义伟大胜利，为实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦不懈奋斗。
Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, hold high the banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, secure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, strive for the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and work tirelessly to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
习近平代表第十八届中央委员会向大会作的报告分13个部分：
一、过去五年的工作和历史性变革；
二、新时代中国共产党的历史使命；
三、新时代中国特色社会主义思想和基本方略；
四、决胜全面建成小康社会，开启全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程；
五、贯彻新发展理念，建设现代化经济体系；
六、健全人民当家作主制度体系，发展社会主义民主政治；
七、坚定文化自信，推动社会主义文化繁荣兴盛；
八、提高保障和改善民生水平，加强和创新社会治理；
九、加快生态文明体制改革，建设美丽中国；
十、坚持走中国特色强军之路，全面推进国防和军队现代化；
十一、坚持“一国两制”，推进祖国统一；
十二、坚持和平发展道路，推动构建人类命运共同体；

Veranstaltungsort des ersten Nationalen Parteikongresses der Kommunistischen Partei Chinas
中国共产党第一次全国代表大会于1921年7月23日至8月初在上海法租界望志路106号（现兴业路76号）和浙江嘉兴召开。上海的李达、李汉俊，北京的张国焘、刘仁静，武汉的董必武、陈潭秋，长沙的毛泽东、何叔衡，广州的陈公博，济南的王尽美、邓恩铭，旅日的周佛海，以及由陈独秀指定的代表包惠僧出席会议，代表全国50多名党员。共产国际代表马林和尼克尔斯基也出席了大会。
