漆在日本的用途十分广泛，不论是餐具、家具等日常生活用品，还是祭器、武具、建筑物、乐器，都常常用到。日本所用的漆是从漆树上采取下来的，作为涂料使用。漆被涂在从日用品到祭器、道具、建筑物等各种物体上。在诸多匠人的手中孕育出的漆文化有着丰富多彩的表现及手法，带给人赏心悦目的视觉享受。漆器在经过制作作为涂料的漆、制作底胎、给底胎上漆这三个工序后方才大功告成。这些工序基本上通过分工协作，多数情况下在一个产地中会有各道工序的专业匠人彼此合作，共同完成一个漆器。Quelle:niponica

Das Japanische Meer ist ein Randmeer des Pazifischen Ozeans in Ostasien (Nordwestpazifik). In Südkorea wird es als Ostmeer und in Nordkorea als Koreanisches Ostmeer bezeichnet. Es ist südlich und östlich durch die Japanischen Inseln, nördlich durch die Insel Sachalin und westlich durch das Festland von Russland, Nordkorea und Südkorea begrenzt.
Das Japanische Meer ist ein Randmeer des Pazifischen Ozeans in Ostasien (Nordwestlicher Pazifikraum). In Südkorea wird es als Ostmeer und in Nordkorea als Koreanisches Ostmeer bezeichnet.
Es ist südlich und östlich durch die Japanischen Inseln, nördlich durch die Insel Sachalin und westlich durch das Festland von Russland, Nordkorea und Südkorea begrenzt. Mit dem Pazifik verbunden ist das Japanische Meer durch die Koreastraße im Süden, die Tsugaru-Straße zwischen den japanischen Inseln Honshū und Hokkaidō und die La-Pérouse-Straße zwischen den Inseln Hokkaidō und Sachalin sowie mit dem Ochotskischen Meer durch den Tatarensund in Norden.
