皇朝十二钱(日语:皇朝十二銭/こうちょうじゅうにせん)是日本于和铜元年(708年)至应和三年(963年)间铸造的12种铜钱的总称。又称本朝十二钱(ほんちょうじゅうにせん)、皇朝十二文钱(こうちょうじゅうにもんせん)。此外,避免使用“皇朝”一词的研究者亦称之为“古代钱货”。

Angeblich die erste Goldmünze, die jemals von einem indischen König ausgegeben wurde; sie wurde 127 n. Chr. vom Kuschankönig Kanishka 1 ausgegeben. Dies war auch eine der wenigen Münzen, die in griechischer Sprache ausgegeben wurde, da die späteren Münzen in die baktrische Sprache wechselten, eine iranische Sprache, die in der zentralasiatischen Region Baktrien (dem heutigen Usbekistan, Afghanistan und Tadschikistan) gesprochen wurde.

嘉靖通宝,明代,钱径2.5厘米,穿径0.6厘米,重约4克,铜质,形态基本完整。铸于明世宗嘉靖十三年(1534年),有折、折三、当五、当十大钱。仿照洪武钱制。钱名极多,有金背、火漆、镟边等名目,以防私铸。兰州市博物馆馆藏多枚,均为小平钱,钱文楷体,嘉靖二字有隶体韵,通宝二字凝重,周郭精整,光背。
