- [7] There is a known issue with the current version of IMS Explorer. When updating the existing installation of IMS Explorer, the Readme file does not get updated. The workaround is to perform a fresh installation of IMS Explorer, eother by installing it into a new package group, or by uninstalling any existing versions of IMS Explorer first.
- [8] Note: the current version of IBM Rational Programming Patterns is only compatible with IBM Engineering Workflow Management 7.0.3 or later. Check here to download IBM Rational Programming Patterns 9.7.3 which is compatible with IBM Engineering Workflow Management 7.0.2.

Die Geschichte der IBM in Deutschland beginnt mit der Gründung der DEHOMAG (Deutsche Hollerith-Maschinen Gesellschaft mbH) in Berlin am 30. November 1910. Damals entsendete der Amerikaner Herman Hollerith, Erfinder der Lochkartenmaschine und Gründer der "Tabulating Machine Company", den Ingenieur R. Williams nach Deutschland, um eine Gesellschaft zum Erwerb seiner Patente und Vertrieb seiner Maschinen zu gründen. Aus den damals sieben Mitarbeitern in Berlin sind mittlerweile rund 21.500 Beschäftigten an 40 Standorten in Deutschland geworden. Die wichtigsten Stationen dieser Entwicklung können Sie in der „IBM Chronik“ nachlesen.
Einen unmittelbaren Einblick in die Geschichte der IBM Produkte bietet das IBM Museum in Sindelfingen bei Stuttgart. Das "Haus zur Geschichte der IBM Datenverarbeitung" enthält die weltweit größte Sammlung funktionsfähiger und historisch bedeutender IBM Produkte und ermöglicht eine einzigartige Zeitreise durch 100 Jahre DV-Geschichte.
