美国陆军装备司令部（英语：United States Army Materiel Command，AMC）是美国陆军的主要司令部之一。作为陆军的主要物资管理单位，陆军装备司令部负责向全球的美军维持后勤管理及装备维护。

美国内战（英语：American Civil War），中文通称南北战争，是美国自1861年至1865年发生的内战，参战双方为北方的联邦阵营（the Union，或称"the North"）、以及南方的联盟国阵营（the Confederacy，或称"the South"）。该战争爆发的起因为蓄奴州及自由州之间的政治对立，后来随着维持蓄奴的南方各州脱离联邦另立“美利坚联盟国”而演变为全面内战，最终以联邦阵营的战胜与美国奴隶制度的废除告终。
