Das von der UNESCO erfasste Welterbe setzt sich aus den Welterbestätten (Weltkulturerbe und Weltnaturerbe), sowie einigen anderen Klassen, wie dem Weltdokumentenerbe (bewegliche Sachen), dem Immateriellen Welterbe (immaterielle Güter), zusammen.
世界遗产（英语：World Heritage，法语：patrimoine mondial），又译世界袭产，是一项由联合国支持、联合国教育科学文化组织负责执行的国际公约建制，以保存对全世界人类都具有杰出普遍性价值的自然或文化处所为目的。世界遗产可分为自然遗产、文化遗产和文化与自然双重遗产。国际文化纪念物与历史场所委员会等非政府组织作为联合国教科文组织的协力组织，参与世界遗产的甄选、管理与保护工作。

世界钟（德语：Weltzeituhr），又称乌拉尼亚世界钟（德语：Urania-Weltzeituhr），是一座大型炮塔式世界时钟，位于德国柏林米特区的亚历山大广场。通过阅读其金属圆形大厅上的标记，可以确定全球148个主要城市的当前时间。自1969年建成以来，它已成为旅游胜地和聚会场所。2015年7月，德国政府宣布该时钟为具有历史和文化意义的纪念碑。

Die Weltzeituhr auf dem Alexanderplatz im Berliner Ortsteil Mitte (auch: Urania-Weltzeituhr) ist eine Uhrenanlage in Baueinheit mit einer symbolischen Weltdarstellung. Sie enthält auf ihrer metallenen Rotunde die Namen von 146 Orten sowie einen zusätzlichen Eintrag zur Datumsgrenze.[1] Seit ihrer Aufstellung 1969 ist die zehn Meter hohe Weltzeituhr ein beliebter Treffpunkt für Berliner und Touristen in der deutschen Hauptstadt. Seit Juli 2015 steht die Weltzeituhr unter Denkmalschutz.
