《诗人之恋》
写于1840年5月底，一个礼拜内就完成。1840年是舒曼的"歌曲年"，那年舒曼与克拉拉不顾克拉拉父亲的反对而结婚。它也可以说是舒曼的爱情日记。这组歌曲的重要主题--爱情欣喜的苏醒与痛苦的失去--虽有海涅自传的意味，但舒曼对克拉拉爱情却有了结果。不过作曲家情感的诚挚与他生命此时的骚动，显然有助于音乐的张力。这些歌曲在极有限的音乐空间中，压缩了丰富的情感。钢琴相当活跃，在装饰音惊人的变化中，传达了大部份的讯息，提供了许多音色上的微妙差异。

Schwanensee, op. 20 (französisch Le lac des cygnes; russisch Лебединое Озеро, Lebedinoje osero; englisch Swan Lake), ist ein weltberühmtes Ballett zur Musik von Pjotr Iljitsch Tschaikowski, das seine Uraufführung im Jahr 1877 am Bolschoi-Theater in Moskau erlebte und zum Standardrepertoire klassischer Ballettkompanien gehört.

《天鹅湖》（俄语：Лебединое озеро）原为柴可夫斯基于1875年-1876年间为莫斯科帝国歌剧院所作的芭蕾舞剧，于1877年3月4日（俄罗斯旧历2月20日）在莫斯科大剧院首演，之后作曲家将原作改编成了在音乐会上演奏的《天鹅湖》组曲，组曲出版于1900年11月。而整部芭蕾的作品编号为OP.20。《天鹅湖》是世界上最有名的芭蕾舞剧，也是所有古典芭蕾舞团的保留剧目。

Die bis heute maßgebliche Inszenierung fand am 17. Februar/15. Januar 1895 am Mariinski-Theater in Sankt Petersburg statt, mit einer neuen Choreografie von Marius Petipa und Lew Iwanow. Spätere Inszenierungen lehnten sich meist eng an diese Fassung an.

Scott Joplin (* zwischen Juni 1867 und Januar 1868 bei Linden, Texas; † 1. April 1917 in New York City, New York) war ein US-amerikanischer Komponist und Pianist. Schlüssiger als andere Komponisten des Ragtime hat Joplin, der als „Vollender dieses Stils“ angesehen wird, Elemente der romantischen Klaviertradition mit der afroamerikanischen Folklore „zu kraftvollen Miniaturen verbunden, die in ihrer aphoristischen Dichte an Stücke von Erik Satie heranreichen“ (Martin Kunzler).
