Raymond Samuel „Ray“ Tomlinson (* 2. Oktober 1941 in Amsterdam, New York; † 5. März 2016 in Lincoln, Massachusetts) war ein US-amerikanischer Informatiker. Er gilt als Erfinder der E-Mail. Mit dem Anti-Computerwurm Reaper entwickelte er auch das erste bekannte Programm gegen Malware.
雷蒙德·塞缪尔·汤姆林森（英语：Raymond Samuel Tomlinson，1941年4月23日—2016年3月5日），昵称雷·汤姆林森（Ray Tomlinson），美国程序员，以发明电子邮件而知名[1][2][3][4][5][6]，被誉为“电子邮件之父”[7][8][9]。
他于1971年在ARPANET系统上实现了第一个电子邮件系统[10]。它是第一个能够在连接到ARPANE的不同主机用户之间发送邮件的系统。此前，邮件只能发送给使用同一台计算机的其他用户。
为了实现这一目标，他用@符号将用户名与计算机名分隔，而这一方案在电子邮件地址中沿用至今[11]。 2012年获选进入互联网名人堂。互联网名人堂评论道“汤姆林森的电子邮件程序带来了彻底的革命，从根本上改变人们的交流方式。”
