萨尔浒之战
1969 萨尔浒之战是西元1619年明朝与女真族的后金政权在萨尔浒（满语：ᠰᠠᡵᡥᡡ，穆麟德：sarhū[5]；山名，位于今辽宁省抚顺市东部浑河中上游大伙房水库东南岸）发生的一场大战，明军大败于金军，从而改变了辽东的战略格局。

索尔费里诺战役/Bataille de Solférino
Die Schlacht von Solferino war die Entscheidungsschlacht im Sardinischen Krieg zwischen dem Kaisertum Österreich und dem Königreich Sardinien mit dessen Verbündetem Frankreich unter Napoléon III. Durch die Niederlage der Österreicher bei Solferino am 24. Juni 1859 wurde der Krieg von Sardinien gewonnen und der Weg zur Einigung Italiens eröffnet.

Die Schlacht von Stalingrad ist eine der bekanntesten Schlachten des Zweiten Weltkriegs. Die Vernichtung der deutschen 6. Armee und verbündeter Truppen im Winter 1942/1943 gilt als psychologischer Wendepunkt des im Juni 1941 vom Deutschen Reich begonnenen Deutsch-Sowjetischen Krieges.

崖山海戰 崖山海战
崖山海战，又称崖门战役、崖门之役、崖山之战、宋元崖门海战等，是1279年（南宋祥兴二年，元至元十六年），宋朝军队与蒙古军队在崖山进行的大规模海战，也是古代中国少见的大海战。 崖山位于今广东江门市新会区南约50公里的崖门镇，银洲湖水由此出海，也是潮汐涨退的出入口。东有崖山，西有汤瓶山，两山之脉向南延伸入海，如门束住水口，就像一半开掩的门，故又名崖门。 崖山海战直接关系到南宋的存亡，因此也是宋元之间的决战。战争的最后元军以少胜多，宋军全军覆灭。南宋灭国时，陆秀夫背着少帝赵昺投海自尽，许多忠臣追随其后，十万军民跳海殉国。 此次战役之后，赵宋皇朝的陨落， 同时也意味着南宋残余势力的彻底灭亡，蒙元最终统一整个中国。
