格鲁曼C-2“灰狗式”运输机（Grumman C-2 "Greyhound"）是一款美国海军使用的双引擎舰载运输机，主要用于航舰舰上运输（Carrier onboard delivery, COD）任务，提供航空母舰舰队关键的后勤支援（包括人员、货物及邮件的运输）。
Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye
E-2空中预警机，官方昵称鹰眼（E-2 Hawkeye），是由美国格鲁曼公司（现为诺斯洛普·格鲁曼公司）在1950年代末期研制的舰载空中早期预警与航空管制机，是美国海军目前唯一使用的舰载空中预警机，也是截至2011年为止两款服役中，以涡轮螺旋桨推进的飞机之一。她同时也被许多国家空军在陆上机场使用，它是全世界产量最大，量产时间最久，使用国家最多的舰载预警机，法国、新加坡、中华民国、日本等购买并投入使用。目前服役中的型号为E-2C与鹰眼-2000，最新型号为E-2D先进鹰眼。

EA-6徘徊者（Prowler）式是一种双引擎、中单翼的舰载机，专门担任电子作战任务，机体沿用A-6闯入者式攻击机的基本设计，由格鲁曼公司（现为诺斯洛普·格鲁门公司）制造。自1971年起，EA-6一直是美国海军航空队主要的专用电子作战机，美国海军的徘徊者由EA-18G咆哮者电子作战机取代，机队在2015年退役，美国海军陆战队的徘徊者机队在2019年退役。

Ein weiterer Bereich ist die Entwicklung von Sortiertechnik für Briefe. Hier ist das Unternehmen einer der Hauptlieferanten der US-Postgesellschaft.
Operation Overlord
诺曼底登陆：代号“霸王行动”（英语Operation Overlord），是第二次世界大战中盟军在欧洲西线战场发起的一场大规模攻势。接近三百万士兵渡过英吉利海峡前往法国诺曼底。诺曼底战役是目前为止世界上最大的一次海上登陆作战，使第二次世界大战的战略态势发生了根本性的变化。 过程：1944年6月6日早6时30分，以英美两国军队为主力的盟军先头部队总计17.6万人，从英国跨越英吉利海峡，抢滩登陆诺曼底，攻下了犹他、奥马哈、金滩、朱诺和剑滩五处海滩；此后，288万盟国大军如潮水般涌入法国，势如破竹，成功开辟了欧洲大陆的第二战场。在8月19日渡过塞纳-马恩省河后结束。

诺门罕战役（亦称作“诺门坎战役”，苏联与蒙古称“哈拉哈河战役”、“哈拉欣河战役”，俄语：Бои на Халхин-Голе，蒙古语：Халхын голын байлдаан；日本称“诺门罕事件”，日语：ノモンハン事件）是1939年5月至8月以日本帝国和满洲国为一方，苏联和蒙古人民共和国为另一方而进行的边界战争。日本称1939年5月11日至6月上旬的事件为第1次诺门罕事件，此后至1939年9月16日停火为止，称为第2次诺门罕事件。苏联方面指挥这场战役的统帅是朱可夫、日方主将则为小松原道太郎。虽然这场战争规模很大，但苏、日双方并没有向对方正式宣战，战争的结果以日本关东军的失利和苏联的获胜为结局，但苏联并无意进一步扩大战事。为此苏联在1941年4月与日本缔结了《苏日中立条约》，双方暂时停战并保持满洲国和蒙古人民共和国领土的不可侵犯性，此后两国在二战中一直维持和平状态，直至苏联在1945年8月8日对日本宣战并发动八月风暴行动为止。
