Deutsch-Französischer Krieg
1870年至1871年的法德战争是法国与普鲁士领导的北德联邦及其盟国南德意志各州（巴伐利亚、符腾堡、巴登和黑森-达姆施塔特）之间的军事冲突。战争的导火索是法国和普鲁士之间关于霍亨索伦-西格马林根的利奥波德王子竞选西班牙王位的问题。
Friedrich II. von Preußen/腓特烈大帝
腓特烈二世（德语：Friedrich II；1712年1月24日—1786年8月17日），史称腓特烈大帝（德语：Friedrich der Große）。是1740－1786年间在位的普鲁士国王。他主要的成就包括其在西里西亚战争中的军事胜利、对普鲁士军队的重组、参与对波兰领土的瓜分，以及对艺术与启蒙运动的支持。腓特烈是霍亨索伦王朝最后一位被封为“在普鲁士的国王”（König in Preußen）的君主，他在吞并皇家普鲁士后便开始自称为“普鲁士国王”（König von Preußen）。普鲁士在他的统治下成功扩张国土，成为欧洲的军事大国。
