Der Gioco del Ponte (Giòo der Ponte in Pisano) ist eine historische Veranstaltung, die jedes Jahr am letzten Samstag im Juni auf der Ponte di Mezzo in Pisa stattfindet.

Das Spiel, bei dem sich die in den Parteien Mezzogiorno und Tramontana (südlich und nördlich des Arno) zusammengeschlossenen Magistraturen (Vertreter der Stadtviertel) gegenüberstehen, besteht in der heutigen Version darin, einen Wagen auf einer speziell auf der Ponte di Mezzo angebrachten Bahn zu schieben. Vor der Schlacht findet die historische Prozession statt, an der 710 Personen teilnehmen, davon 41 zu Pferd, die alle spanische Kostüme aus dem 16. Jahrhundert tragen. Die Prozession schlängelt sich gegen den Uhrzeigersinn durch die vier Straßen, die den zentralen Abschnitt des Arno in der Stadt begrenzen (die sogenannten Lungarni).

Die Giostra del Saracino ist die wichtigste folkloristische Veranstaltung in Arezzo und findet alljährlich an zwei unterschiedlichen Terminen statt: Am vorletzten Samstag im Juni und am ersten Septembersonntag wird dieses Pferderennen auf der Piazza Grande ausgetragen. Das Rennen im Juni ist dem Heiligen Donatus, dem Schutzpatron der Stadt, gewidmet und wird deshalb Giostra di San Donato genannt; das zweite Rennen ist dagegen der Schutzherrin Arezzos gewidmet。
