Die Chinesische Volksbank (chinesisch 中國人民銀行 / 中国人民银行 Zhōngguó Rénmín Yínháng, englisch People’s Bank of China; Abk. PBoC oder PBOC oder PBC) ist die Zentralbank der Volksrepublik China und verantwortet die Geld- und Währungspolitik für die chinesische Währung Renminbi. Sie wurde am 1. Dezember 1948 in Shijiazhuang gegründet und hat seit 1949 ihren Hauptsitz in Peking. Die Institution übernahm in den ersten 30 Jahren ihres Bestehens die Rolle einer Geschäfts- und Zentralbank, wobei sie lediglich ein ausführendes Staatsorgan war. Im Zuge eines langwierigen Transformationsprozesses wandelte sich die PBoC zu einer Institution, die sich ganz auf die traditionellen Zentralbankaufgaben konzentriert, wobei sie noch immer dem Staatsrat unterstellt ist. Der Leitzins beträgt 6,00 %, der Einlagensatz liegt bei 3,00 % (Stand 2012).

中国社会科学院（英语：Chinese Academy of Social Sciences，缩写为CASS），简称中国社科院，是中华人民共和国在哲学、社会科学领域研究的国家级学术机构与综合研究中心，为正部级国务院直属事业单位。中国社会科学院是中国哲学社会科学研究的最高学术机构和综合研究中心。
Die Chinesische Akademie der Sozialwissenschaften (chin. 中國社會科學院 / 中国社会科学院, Zhōngguó Shèhuì Kēxuéyuàn; engl. Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Abk. CASS)) ist die Nationalakademie der Volksrepublik China für die Sozialwissenschaften. Sie hat ihren Sitz in Peking. Es ist eine Institution des Staatsrats der Volksrepublik China. Sie wurde im Mai 1977 gegründet, und ging aus dem Department für Philosophie und Sozialwissenschaften der Chinesischen Akademie der Wissenschaften hervor.
