Olympische Ringe
奧林匹克五環 奥林匹克五环
Die olympischen Ringe als Teil der olympischen Symbole wurden von Pierre de Coubertin im Jahr 1913 entworfen. Das Symbol besteht aus fünf verschlungenen Ringen in den Farben Blau, Gelb, Schwarz, Grün und Rot; der sechste verwendete Farbton ist Weiß für den Hintergrund. Die „Verschlungenheit“ der Ringe symbolisiert die Universalität der olympischen Idee und die durch sie vereinten Kontinente sowie das Zusammenkommen von Sportlern aus allen Ländern.

奥林匹克五环（英语：The Olympic Rings 或称五环会徽、奥林匹克运动会会徽），是五个互扣的环圈，五环的颜色自左至右为蓝、黄、黑、绿、红，也可用单色绘制，而底色为白色。奥林匹克五环于1913年由前国际奥林匹克委员会主席、现代奥林匹克运动会创始人皮埃尔·德·顾拜旦设计，因以五色能概括各会员国国旗的颜色而选定，但之后对五环赋予更多内涵。1979年，国际奥委会出版的《奥林匹克评论》中指出：五环象征五大洲的团结，全世界的运动员以公正、坦率的比赛和友好的精神在奥运会上相见。

Die olympischen Ringe als Teil der olympischen Symbole wurden von Pierre de Coubertin im Jahr 1913 entworfen. 

Das Symbol besteht aus fünf verschlungenen Ringen in den Farben Blau, Gelb, Schwarz, Grün und Rot; der sechste verwendete Farbton ist Weiß für den Hintergrund.[1]

Pierre de Coubertin sagte 1913 über die Fahne[1]:

„Ihre Gestalt ist symbolisch zu verstehen. Sie stellt die fünf Erdteile dar, die in der olympischen Bewegung vereint sind; ihre sechs Farben entsprechen denen sämtlicher Nationalflaggen der heutigen Welt.“

Die „Verschlungenheit“ der Ringe symbolisiert die Universalität der olympischen Idee und die durch sie vereinten Kontinente sowie das Zusammenkommen von Sportlern aus allen Ländern.[2] Vor 1951 hieß es im offiziellen Handbuch der Olympischen Spiele, dass jede Farbe einen Kontinent repräsentiere: Blau für Europa, Gelb für Asien, Schwarz für Afrika, Grün für Australien sowie Rot für Amerika. Dieser Hinweis wurde entfernt, da es keine Anhaltspunkte dafür gäbe, dass Coubertin dies so beabsichtigt hätte.
