由标签(Tag)、读取器(Reader)和天线(Antenna)三部分组成的非接触式自动识别技术。工作原理是将一块极小的IC放置或内嵌在产品上，再将IC内储存的资料利用射频技术发送到系统端做为追踪之用。一般认为，它将大量应用在零售应用中，取代现有的条码。
