Er war die erste Singleauskopplung aus dem 1982 veröffentlichten Album Einzelhaft. S.T.S. (auch STS; Akronym aus „Steinbäcker – Timischl – Schiffkowitz“) war eine dreiköpfige Pop-Rock-Band aus Österreich. Das Trio wurde 1978 von Gert Steinbäcker, Günter Timischl und Schiffkowitz (bürgerlich Helmut Röhrling) gegründet.
