Freddy Quinn ist ein österreichischer Schlagersänger und Schauspieler. Er hatte zwischen 1956 und 1966 zehn Nummer-eins-Erfolge in den deutschen Charts, verkaufte rund 60 Millionen Schallplatten und wurde zu dieser Zeit zum erfolgreichsten deutschsprachigen Sänger.
