Mireille Mathieu (* 22. Juli 1946 in Avignon, Vaucluse) ist eine französische Sängerin. Die aus einfachen Verhältnissen stammende Mireille Mathieu begann ihre Karriere 1965 und hatte 1966 mit Mon credo ihren ersten großen Erfolg. Mit einem Repertoire von rund 1200 Liedern, die sie in zahlreichen Sprachen vortrug, wurde sie zu einer internationalen Größe des französischen Chansons.
