上海国际汽车工业博览会，是由中国上海市国际展览有限公司、中国国际贸易促进委员会汽车行业分会以及德国慕尼黑国际博览集团IMAG国际交易会及展览会有限公司共同定期举行的国际性汽车展览，民间亦简称为上海车展。
The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) is an annual auto show held in Detroit, Michigan, U.S., at TCF Center. The show was held in January from 1989 to 2019. It was intended to move to the summer in 2020, but it has been suspended since due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. It is among the largest auto shows in North America.[1] UPI says the show is "regarded as the foremost venue for [car] manufacturers to unveil new products".
The show begins with press preview days, industry preview days and a charity preview event. The charity preview raises money for local children's charities. In 2004 and 2005, the charity preview attracted 17,500 people at $400 a ticket and raised $7 million in total. 2006 was the sixth consecutive year the charity preview event raised over $6 million. 35,711 tickets were sold for the industry preview representing people from 24 countries in 2005 and 6,897 credentialed press from 63 countries.[citation needed] Over 800,000 attended during the days the show was open to the general public in 2018; it is estimated that the show generates a revenue of over $500 million to the local economy.
東京モーターショーは、国際モーターショーのひとつであり、フランクフルトモーターショー（ドイツ）、パリサロン（フランス）、ジュネーヴ・モーターショー（スイス）、北米国際オートショー（アメリカ合衆国）と並ぶ世界5大モーターショーの一つ[1]。
1954年に「全日本自動車ショウ」という名称でスタートし、第11回（1964年）から国際モーターショーを目指す方針により、英文表記と同じ「東京モーターショー」となった。第20回（1973年）までは毎年開催されたが、1974年の開催がオイルショックの影響で中止になり、第21回（1975年）以降はパリサロンと交互開催方式となる隔年開催となった。
第33回（1999年）より、乗用車・二輪車と商用車を分離し、奇数年に「乗用車・二輪車ショー」、偶数年に「商用車ショー」を交互に開催したが、2006年は商用車ショーを開催せず、第40回（2007年）より再び乗用車、商用車、二輪車を統合した総合モーターショーとなった[広報 1]。
開催期間は、東京国際見本市会場（晴海）に会場が移った第6回（1959年）以降、幕張メッセに移っても原則10月下旬から11月上旬の約2週間だったが、東京国際展示場に会場を変更した第42回（2011年）は、会場のスケジュールの都合上、12月上旬開催、会期は10日間となった。第44回（2015年）は、6年ぶりに10月下旬から11月上旬に戻った。
2021年は新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行の影響を受け、同年4月に開催中止が決定した[2]。主催者ではオンライン開催の形も模索したものの、「二輪、軽自動車、大型車、乗用車など、他のインダストリーのモビリティを含め、日本にはいろんな会社がございますので、ぜひともそのあたりをリアルに見ていただくことにこだわらせていただきたい」との理由で、リアルにこだわるがゆえの開催中止であるとしている[2]。奇数年で東京モーターショーが行われないのは1953年以来68年ぶりとなる。なお、日本自動車工業会の豊田章男会長は「次回はさらに進化した、『東京モビリティショー』としてお届けしたい」とも語っており、従来の「東京モーターショー」の名称での開催は2019年が最後となることも示唆した。
Die Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) ist eine der größten und international bedeutendsten Automobil-Fachmessen. Bis 1939 fand sie überwiegend in Berlin statt, nach einer kriegsbedingten Unterbrechung von 1951 bis 2019 alle zwei Jahre in Frankfurt am Main. Seit 1991 sind die Messen für Personenwagen und Nutzfahrzeuge getrennt. Die IAA Nutzfahrzeuge wird seit 1992 in allen geraden Jahren in Hannover durchgeführt. Die PKW-IAA fand 2021 erstmals als Mobilitätsplattform IAA Mobility in München statt.[1] Terminlich werden Fachbesucher-, Presse- und Publikumstage unterschieden. Ausgerichtet wird die IAA vom Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA).
Der Pariser Autosalon, französisch bis 1987 Salon de l’Automobile, von 1988 bis 2017 Mondial de l’Automobile, seit 2018 Mondial Paris Motor Show, ist eine Automobil-, Motorrad- und Mobilitätsmesse, die in Paris stattfindet. Sie war die erste Automobilausstellung von internationaler Bedeutung und ist nach wie vor eine der meistbesuchten. 1898 wurde sie erstmals ausgerichtet und präsentierte damals 232 Automobile, die rund 140.000 Besucher anzogen.
