岩土力学与工程安全全国重点实验室（以下简称“实验室”），英文名称State Key Laboratory of Geomechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Safety，前身为岩土力学与工程国家重点实验室，依托中国科学院武汉岩土力学研究所建设，是我国岩土力学与工程领域首批国家重点实验室。作为我国开展岩土力学与工程基础性、战略性、前瞻性研究的主要科研机构，实验室面向国际学科前沿和国家战略需求，致力于解决水利水电、交通、矿山、市政、能源、海洋与环境等多行业共性关键科学问题和工程技术难题。
