Stadt- und Gemeindewerke (manchmal zusammengefasst unter dem Oberbegriff Kommunalwerke) sind kommunale Unternehmen (d. h. öffentliche oder gemischtwirtschaftliche Unternehmen im mehrheitlichen Besitz einer oder mehrerer Kommunen), die im öffentlichen Auftrag technische Dienstleistungen und Versorgungsleistungen, insbesondere im Bereich der Grundversorgung und der Daseinsvorsorge der Bevölkerung, erbringen oder kommunale Infrastruktur bereitstellen.

格特维克修道院（Stift Göttweig）位于克雷姆斯以南约6公里处，海拔449米，最早建于1083年。可欣赏修道院的艺术珍藏和了解僧侣的生活。其观景平台可眺望多瑙河谷和瓦豪风景区。 3月中至11月1日开放。

    梅尔克修道院(StiftMelk)是一座本笃会修道院，位于奥地利下奥地利州梅尔克镇的山岩上，俯瞰多瑙河，毗邻优美的瓦豪河谷。

　　梅尔克修道院成立于1089年。有精美的壁画，图书馆藏有无数的中世纪手稿。由于其名望和学术价值，在1780年到1790年约瑟夫二世大量解 散奥地利的修道院时，梅尔克修道院得以幸免，并且逃过了拿破仑战争的破坏。1938年德奥合并，学校和修道院的大部分被纳粹收归国有。

　　梅尔克修道院高居山顶，俯瞰多瑙河，这个本笃会修道院，庄严地耸立于该地区的优美风景之中，无论是乘车还是乘船从老远就影人眼帘。修道院堪称巴 洛克式建筑的杰作，由雅格布·普兰陶尔（Jakob Prandtauer）在1702年至1738年间建造。穿过主教庭院，游人可以登上装饰豪华的皇帝台阶，沿着长约200米的长廊前行。
