Edelweiss ist ein englisches Lied, das die US-Amerikaner Richard Rodgers (Melodie) und Oscar Hammerstein (Text) für das 1959 uraufgeführte, US-amerikanische Musical The Sound of Music schufen, welches in Österreich spielt. Dessen im Original gleichnamige Hollywood-Verfilmung Meine Lieder – meine Träume (1965) wurde hinsichtlich der Zuschauerzahlen besonders in den Vereinigten Staaten immens erfolgreich.

Where Have All the Flowers Gone ist ein Antikriegslied, das 1955 vom US-amerikanischen Singer-Songwriter Pete Seeger geschrieben wurde. Der Folksong wurde von Max Colpet unter dem Titel Sag mir, wo die Blumen sind ins Deutsche übertragen und in der 1962 veröffentlichten Version von Marlene Dietrich international populär.

Das Trio wurde 1978 von Gert Steinbäcker, Günter Timischl und Schiffkowitz (bürgerlich Helmut Röhrling) gegründet.
